Condemns Conviction of President Trump

Resolution 2024-06 - The Alameda County Republican Party Central Committee, resolved:

Whereas:

• The conviction of Donald J. Trump as "guilty" on May 30, 2024 in New York, is a complete abuse of the justice system by the Biden Administration and others to politically target the current Republican Candidate for President of the United States.
• The court was rigged: Judge Merchan was corrupt and biased as evidence has shown.
• This conviction is a blatant assault on the principles of justice. 
• This conviction sets a dangerous precedent which undermines the fundamentals of our Constitution.

Therefore:

The Alameda County Republican Party Central Committee:

• unequivocally condemns the conviction of President Donald J. Trump in New York on May 30, 2024
• calls on justice to be upheld.
