About the Alameda County Republican Party
The Alameda County Republican Central Committee (ACGOP) is the official governing body of the Republican Party in Alameda County, California. We are committed to promoting conservative values, supporting Republican candidates, and engaging citizens in the democratic process throughout the East Bay.
Our Mission
We work to advance the principles of individual liberty, fiscal responsibility, limited government, and strong national defense. Through grassroots organizing, voter outreach, and candidate support, we strive to build a stronger Republican presence in Alameda County.
Organization
The Central Committee is composed of 30 elected members representing 5 Assembly Districts (6 members per district). We conduct official business at monthly general meetings and through standing committees.
Leadership

Chairwoman Solnordal leads the Alameda County Republican Party with a focus on community engagement, voter outreach, and building a strong pipeline of Republican candidates for local office.
Monthly Meetings
General membership meetings are held the 3rd Wednesday of every month from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Meetings are conducted in a hybrid format — both in-person at our headquarters and via Zoom.
