Prior to working alongside conservative media pioneer Andrew Breitbart, he was a Tea Party backed Republican candidate for Congress in Illinois, and a Research Fellow at the Hudson Institute, focusing on human rights and international law. Mr Pollak holds law and bachelor's degrees from Harvard University and a master's degree from the University of Cape Town. He is a winner of the 2018 Robert Novak Journalism Alumni Fellow and the author of several books.
