Join Reform California and Assemblyman Carl DeMaio at the Alameda County stop of their statewide Voter ID Initiative bus tour. The initiative is a constitutional amendment that would require government-issued ID for in-person voting and verification of citizenship for voter registration.
Polling shows 68% of all Californians support a voter ID requirement, including 93% of Republicans and 52% of Democrats. The campaign has trained over 17,000 volunteers and collected 750,000+ signatures toward the 874,641 needed to qualify for the November 2026 ballot.
